Our most frequently asked question about our past few days at home is 'How is Emma doing with Eli' and 'What does Emma think of Eli'. Emma is still adjusting and I think she will be adjusting, just like the rest of us, for at least another few weeks. This has rocked her world and she doesn't know what to think of it. She loves holding Eli and she loves saying his name over and over again. She has hit him once and she acts out a lot by throwing food on the floor, not listening, hitting the dog, etc. She came home from spending the nights at Gabby's house on Friday to start spending the night at home and started screaming at 1am and did not stop until we put her in our bed at 4am. It was so overwhelming that she went back to Gabby's (where she slept through the night) for the weekend. Now we have her home for good now so tonight is going to be tough, but we will survive!! She has been getting lots and lots of one-on-one time with Daddy and we are trying to keep her as involved and let her be our little helper as much as possible. But like I said before... she is still adjusting.
