We went to see Dr. Horton today for Emma Marie's 6 month check up. She is a very healthy little girl. She weighs 16 pounds and 4 ounces and is in the 50th percentile for weight. She is 27 and 1/4 inches long and is in the 90th percentile for her height. This is all good because this means she is longer than she is heavy! Then she got three shots... and she cried the most horrible sounds.

But it was so much better than her four month shots! She was hysterical- no hyseterical does not even descibe it- beyond hysterical that time!! Awful! That time I was crying just as much if not more than Emma. We really think it was because Adam couldn't come to that check up- but Daddy was there this time!!!

Daddy held her while Dr. Horton gave her the shots and I got to hold her and cry with her afterwards for about 5 monutes and then put her clothes back on. I really hate when she gets shot, because she is just so happy then she gets the shot and her face changes to this screaming awful thing when it happens. We are looking forward to the 9 month check up cause you don't have to get any shots! YAY! :)
