When It Rains... It Pours!

We were trying to get Emma to make her "happy" face at the camera, but she was more interested in showing it to her Daddy, silly girl!
We have had a LOT going on this week...
I mentioned in the last post that Emma has been having staring spells and the doctor wants to send her to get an EEG and we have a consult on February 9th. We are hoping and praying that it is nothing serious.
Our little man, Eli, decided to give us a scare this week at my doctor's appt. My blood pressure (that I have been on medicine for since 20 weeks) and my heart beat was high and the baby wasn't moving, so... they sent me to the hospital to get monitored. After they adjusted my medicine and made me relax my blood pressure went down and the baby started moving. My heart beat was still on the high side for resting (98-120) but they let me go home. No worries, we are fine now!
This afternoon I called the pediatrician and they think Emma has a virus that has been going around that comes with a nasty diaper rash. They called her in some medicated ointment for the diaper rash, but if it doesn't get better by Monday we will be taking her back to the doctor.
Emma is sooooo funny, hours of entertainment...
She will out of the blue start singing and dancing to no music;
She knows how to do the chicken dance at 18 months of age;
She tries to sing the ABC song but only knows letters A,B, & G;
She plays fetch & tug-a-war with the dog;
She will show you her 'happy face' & 'mean face';
And tonight she thought it was so funny to crawl under my legs while they were on the ottoman... she would giggle everytime she crawled under my legs.
She is such a blessing!

Aahah, that's my favorite part. I Love it!

I'm glad all is well now, health-wise.
